Super Visa Travel Insurance
For Parents & Grandparents
Anyone who is applying for a Super Visa for their parents or grandparents must show they have purchased private medical insurance. The requirements are that they must be:
issued by a Canadian insurance company
be valid for the one year period you specify at the time of purchase
provide a minimum of $100,000 of coverage, but may opt for more
Some plans may cover pre-existing conditions with a 3 to 6 month stability period.
